I mailed 77 sheets of paper to myself from within each of Chicago's 77
Community Areas. I used envelopes made of graphite transfer paper to collect traces of touch, travel, machinery and distance, as each sheet made its way back to me (three of them never returned). Together the sheets form a collaborative drawing, made by the city and its boundaries.
